In Poland, the Government has now passed legislation to delay the combined SAF-T monthly filing and Covid-19 measures.

The Polish Ministry of Finance confirmed the postponement of the go-live date for the combined SAF-T monthly filing (JPK_VAT) for large companies. The implementation date moves from the 1st April 2020 to the 1st July 2020.

Furthermore, businesses who, due to the coronavirus (Covid-19), will have problems paying their taxes on a timely manner can apply for a VAT payment holiday. The tax authorities are also hoping to make VAT refund payments more quickly.
